[mythtv-users] remotes (ATI vs Hauppauge)

I know it's an oft-discussed thing, but now it's my turn to ask...

I'm doing some for-trade work for a client, and will hopefully be able
to get a pvr-250 card out of him.  However, this card will end up living
in a server in my basement, and I seem to remember hearing that the
remote it comes with plugs into the card, not a standard computer port. 
Is this correct?

And if so, how well does the ATI Remote Wonder work?  I like the idea of
an RF remote..
