[mythtv-users] Adding 2nd Tuner (PVR-250)

Thanks, Isaac, you led me to the solution.

The "HOW TO" instructions said that the PVR would be video0, but now I
realize that in that case, it was the only tuner card installed.
The other problem is that the ivtv driver needs to be loaded manually every
time I boot the machine. I see in the how-to how to get it to automatically
load. I'll try that.

2 questions:

1. How do I delete a capture setup in MythBackEnd (after running ./setup). I
now have 3 after mistakenly adding a dev/v4l/video0 initially. I can add,
but don't know the command to delete.

2. How do I select which tuner card will be the default? Can that have a
different setting on the server as opposed to a client? i.e. have the ATI be
the default on the machine running the backend, and the PVR be the default
on a remote machine running only the frontend via a network?

-Andy.

If it's your second tuner, I really doubt it's /dev/video0. The pvr-250
does
_not_ work with xawtv at all, so you're probably just seeing your original
card. Try /dev/video1.
