[mythtv-users] Problem Recording

So, now I did fix the ringbuf1 problem, but now another problem has
sprung up. This time I have no idea what to do because I have had this
error before and it was fixed easily but I can't fix this one the same
way. This error is the one when you do not have the sound set up
correctly and when you try to watch live TV mythfrontend freezes and you
see that it has spit out a bunch of errors relating to opening the audio
device. I followed all of the steps in the How-To regarding trouble
shooting audio. I can hear sound fine when I use xawtv and "aplay
/dev/dsp". I do not know how to go about troubleshooting this problem
because I know my sound works for everything else. Any ideas? I am not
posting the error because it is the typical sound card problem error,
but if someone feels that it would be useful, let me know and I will
post it.
Thanks,
Colin
