[mythtv-users] Controlling a DTV receiver

I haven't been on this list for long so the conversation has probably 
already
been beaten to death, but ( and I think I know the ans )

Using MythTv I can get the Directv schedule, I can use my browser to see it,
sched. recording - etc.  Will/can MythTv control my receiver?  I'd like to
record SciFi at 2300 for an hr then DcWings at 0200 for 30 min - and I 
"don't"
plan on being awake at those times   ;-)
