They do not show up in the "Watch Recordings" list.  Does this mean they
are not in the database?

Unless Redhat 9 comes with something awfully aggressive then I don't.  I
haven't added anythin to crontabs except mythfilldatabasecron.

Since I was informed about the --verbose option, I'll be monitoring it
and report any further strangeness...
