This is a problem with the javascript positioning code.  Unfortunately,
there doesn't seem to be any way to determine the size of the popup, so
it has no way of knowing whether or not it's appearing over the mouse or
not.

the detect-bottom code was contributed by someone else, but is about as
good as I could have hoped for at that point in time.  I'd HAPPILY
accept fixes if people have them, but haven't personally found a way
around the issue yet (gecko browsers pass the click through the popup
window, so the links still work for me).
