That may have done it...
I had to change the OK line to SELECT (for a DCT2000), but after changing it, I get no errors when running change_channel.csh.
Unfortunately, I don't know still if it worked, as I am at the office ssh'd into my box at home!

"select" (lowercase) and so I had to send the command "select" instead
