That's strange, because I've two laptops with a PIII Mobile 1.1GHz & 
Rage Mobility that works fine as frontends. They have Mandrake 9.1 on them.

802.11b barely with a 3Mbps stream (not to bad if you have high quality 
encoding), 802.11g works fine with atleast a 5 Mbps stream.
