Hi Rich

Thanks for the info!  I tried this just now with my wife checking
the TV at home (I'm at work, sadly), and it didn't work...  I'll
check when I get home to see if the IR LED's in the right spot in
front of the cable box.  But in the meantime, a question -

I'm using the modules:

lirc_serial             8832   0
lirc_dev               10192   1  [lirc_serial]

...Is that what you use?
