[mythtv-users] How do you determine the "best" nuvexport format?

After upgrading to Myth 0.12, I'm finally able to use nuvexport.  What 
should I consider while deciding which format to archive shows in?  I plan 
to use nuvexport on a large number of shows and then burn several to a 
DVD.  I'd like to be able to view archived shows on both Linux and 
Windows computers.
