Sorry for the confusion. When I said letterbox
designation, I meant having it appear in the
description on the schedule. For now I look at the
schedule, exit out, go to the PPV to determine if it
is in letterbox format, then go back to schedule to
record. If letterbox appeared on the description
(which it does not directv.org at least), then I
wouldn't have to go through those other steps.

Hope that makes sense. It's not the recording format,
the question has to do more with how the PPV
information is presented.
