but what about his initial recording settings?  what do you reccomend 
there?  rtjpeg? mpeg4? same bitrates you mentioned above?
what is giving you the best success ratio? and what do you find makes 
the audio go out of sync?  I found in my previous endeavours with 
mencoder that the devil was in the initial recording settings.. and 
upping the framerate of my mpeg4 actually made it go smoother.

btw... i hate to ask this because i'm sure 6 people probably did last 
week, but i have not been paying attention to this list for many moons 
now and i forgot where the nuvexport script is at... in CVS? someones 
homepage?
