Is that really what ALSACONF put in there, with no modification? The last two 
lines should be:

alias snd-card-0 snd-emu10k1
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0

Probably has no impact on the functionality of your PVR-350 though. Otherwise, 
I don't see anything out of the ordinary. When you say "working" about your 
350, did you mean just recordings, or TV-Out also (because there's a lot more 
that has to be done in modules.conf for TV-Out).
