1) No, thats correct, thanks to the documentation from Torsten.

2) Yes, you are right. First I had some problems with this. But now I also 
see that some of the codes doesn't correspond to the frequencies of my 
provider
Example:
Pro7 has the channel S19 and the frequency 289.25 according to a list of my 
cable provider. But the mythtv-channel SE19 has 287.25. It also seems that 
only a few of them are not correct. I think I try know to use a channel 
which equals in the frequency like 34 or 35 which has the same as S19 from 
my cable provider.

By the way: Is there a possibility to enter the frequency direct or to 
adjust the frequency (finetune) in mythtv while watching tv?
