[mythtv-users] Change recorded movie to AVI

Ok, just a couple quick transcode questions.
So I recorded a few movies over the holidays, and I want them to appear in
the video's section of mythtv with a fancy picture and all.
Do I have to set them to play and press x to transcode them? is this the
only way?
When I do transcode them where do the transcoded files go?


Also, I was wondering how do you unsubscribe to the list?
