[mythtv-users] I know this is probably not supported but...

Hey All,

I have a fairly stable pcHDTV (ATSC) mythbox (it still crashes every now
and then, but I'm working on that, and XvMC actually looks worse than
without (go figure))... I also have an NTSC mythbox that I just setup.

the NTSC box has regular channel numbers while the ATSC one has the chan-1
or chan-2 that I'm used to with DTV and other services...

I see that each backend can only support one type of encoding (NTSC or
ATSC), but can I play both on the same frontend?

If this is possible, how can I populate the database in such a way that
both channel types are available? I know I won't be able to watch "live"
NTSC since I don't have a tuner for that in the front end, but I'd like to
be able to schedule recordings from the frontend nonetheless... (In a
perfect world, you could stream the NTSC from the backend on a 10s delay,
but I don't know if that's supported)

Thanks and way to go, I've converted two people to myth already :)
