[mythtv-users] Modifying Compile Settings

Would there be any advantage for someone running an Athlon-XP to change
the gcc options from pentuimpro and perhaps change the MMX option?

If so what would be the best thing to put in there?  I find that mythtv
does all I want, but that it is pegging my CPU a lot and I hope that
changing these to something more suited to my hardware might bring it
down a little bit.
