[mythtv-users] What are people using for viewing DVDs?

Since mplayer is so weak with menus, I was thinking of writing a MythDVD 
plug (front end for mplayer) in for selecting video stream, audio stream, 
and sub titles.   Should be fairly easy given all the nice MythWidgets.
