[mythtv-users] Search Engine?

I was guilty of such the first time I went to that page. There really
isn't anything wrong with the page though...

After a while something about the snowman.net archives gave me the
"There has GOT to be a faster archive than this!" feeling, and a quick
google search turned up the gossamer threads link.

The next time, I read down the page, and there was the link to gossamer
threads.

I tend to call this syndrome "premature click-for-information". The
process of getting let down (or disappointing someone else) because one
is too quick on the draw with regards to link-clicking when it comes to
reading the documentation.

Yeah, unfortunately the layout of that particular section of the website
is
such that the existence of the searchable archive doesn't exactly jump
out
at you... mostly because alot of people don't take time to actually
*read*
it, they just home right in on the first link.
