[mythtv-users] Backend stopped in RequestRingBufferBlock

I'm having problems watching live TV.  After 15 minutes or so it will just
freeze up and I get a bunch of:
Backend stopped in RequestRingBufferBlock
messages in the mythtvbackend log.  Recording seems to be fine as I've recorded
several hour long shows without a problem.  In addition, watching the
recordings also works fine.
My motherboard uses chipset:
Via Apollo Pro 133A (VT82C694X/VT82C686B)
Is this problem related to the via chipset problem?  If so is there a fix
anyone knows about?
