What I do is use SSH combined with VNC. Log into the machine via SSH 
configured to tunnel the VNC ports and then start a VNCServer on the 
home machine. Then run the VNC client on the machine I'm connecting from 
and viola', web access to myth. :)

The nice part is, if you have more than one machine, the system you SSH 
into and run VNC on doesn't even have to be the mythbox.
