[mythtv-users] Re: ALSA sound, unresolved symbols

Well, I downloaded the RPMs from freshrpms.net but they failed with the 
following error:

Installation Failed
file /usr/include/sound/ac97_codec.h from install of alsa_driver_0.9.4-fr2 
conflicts with file from package glibc-devel-2.3.1-10.mdk

I am using this Red Hat RPM on Mandrake 9.1 -- is there anything I can do to 
make the rpm install correctly?
