[mythtv-users] Font size in Guide and Recordings (and various other rants)

Greetings. I was hoping that I could get some input on the following
issues. I am running version 0.9/0.9.1 on various hardware.

Issue 1:
Is there a way to change the size of the font in the Program Guide and
the Watch Recordings page? I have the QtFont* settings at fairly high
values (28, 30, 32), and when I am in the setup screens the font is more
than readable on my TV. However, when browsing through the program
guide or through previously recorded programs, the font is very small
and unreadable. I have searched through the setup screens (and also the
list) to determine if anyone else has this problem, but I haven't seen
anyone else complain of this. Is this a quirk with my systems or am I
overlooking something?

Issue 2 (more of a rant than an issue)
Also while I'm posting I was wondering if the developers assume that
everyone is using this on a computer. All my frontends are hooked to
televisions and my backends are headless. There seems to be an
inordinate amount of keys required to control the various functions of
Myth. There are also a number of places that require typing. It is a
huge pain to have to plug a keyboard into all my systems to do so many
things. This is a plea to think of us poor remote control users when
designing interfaces.

Issue 3:
Does the PIP functionality work across multiple backends? I can send V
to get the other tuner to display, and B to swap focus between the
backends but if I send N to swap between tuners nothing happens. Is
there something wrong here or is swapping between different backends
just not supported?

Issue 4:
I have installed mythmusic on one of my frontends and applied the .9
changes to the DB. When entering MythMusic the frontend logs shows
"metadata.o: Something asked me to look up a StringList entry that
doesn't exist". I have seen this error in previous posts, but it always
seems to be accompanied by hostname error messages or "Your database is
out of whack (no tracks, missing columns,
etc.). Not good." while on my system it appears to be the sole error.
When I select some songs then go to 'Play Music' the songs will not
play. It is apparantly not able to find the files. The frontend
repeatedly outputs 'open: No such file or directory' and the music fails
to play. I have checked mythconverg.musicmetadata and the paths to the
files in question are correct. When I try to enter the 'Scan for Music'
entry on the MythMusic screen or in the setup screen nothing happens. I
saw one other post
(http://www.gossamer-threads.com/perl/mailarc/gforum.cgi?post=68086;search_string=StringList;guest=681441&t=search_engine#68165)
that mentioned the problem with 'Scan for Music', but there does not
seem to be any replies to it. Anyone else experiencing this behavior?

I have several more issues/rants but I will keep them to myself for the
moment. Thanks for any pointers to help me troubleshoot these problems.
