OK, I figured this one out. The MusicLocation path had been set back to 
the default (although the paths in musicmetadata were correct).  I don't 
know how it got set that way (I must have been right at some point in 
order to get the initial import, right?).  If the application requires 
that the MusicLocation be set, why have the full paths in musicmetadata? 
 Anyway, I am happy to have my MythMusic back (hasn't worked since I 
upgraded).  All the other issues in the parent post are still 
unresolved, please feel free to comment (even if it's to tell me I'm an 
idiot).
