[mythtv-users] Myth.. and Home Automation (firecracker)

ok now I finally got mine all up and running... 

and there are some other things i'd like to have running on my myth box..

that is home automation.. don't know very much about programming.. know to 
use the firecracker and bottlerocket and a number of other scripts..

how hard would it be to include an icon and front end using mythtv to 
these things.. and is there anybody willing to help?
