Has anyone used lirccd before with MythTV?  For those who don't know,
here's a little about lirccd:

Hi all!

I know I've been on you about this before, but please consider it. I've
been designing a client program for LIRC - lirccd (lirc client  daemon),
that features extremely flexible configuration, and a better  way to
implement other client programs (since lirccd handles all the  state
information instead of letting liblirc_client do it).

Please, at least put up a link to it on the LIRC applications page on
lirc.org. I did write this in the purpose of using it, and IMHO I  think
it's really good, and it has served me really well. The only  thing is
that the documentation isn't really too good.
I have also made a patch for MPlayer which makes use of it, and it's a
really good thing in itself as well.
