yeah, and am happy to share my xf86config.

haven't checked yet, but I assume that mirroring is running. I don't
think this particular SiS card supports dual-head behavior. xv and
opengl seem to work great (haven't tested them on vga yet, but I'm
pretty sure they'll work fine) - almost faster than the ATI 7500 pro in
my dual-athlon workstation.

sound works great (redhat 9 autodetected)

dd5.1?

I think the pundit is quieter than the shuttles (esp. if you're looking
at an amd system) - and personally, I think it looks nicer. It also has
all of those nice IO ports on the front, DVI, VGA and S-Video out the
back, etc....

cool. no mention of the other io ports, though, so here's my experience:

NIC - no drivers present in redhat 9, but Asus provides them for you in
source code form on the CD that comes with the machine. a simple
`make;make install` and updating /etc/modules.conf got it working with
no trouble.

PCMCIA - redhat 9 detected it just fine.

Flash port - I'm still working on this one. It's on the same PCI device
as PCMCIA, but I don't have enough experience with this sort of thing
(or time, for that matter) to figure out what special drivers I might
need to find (or if there are any at all)

Firewire - redhat seemed to see it just fine, but my camcorder is at my
parents' house at the moment so I can't test it.
