[mythtv-users] Automount and kscd driving me nuts!

If this is a dedicated Myth frontend (i.e., hooked up to a TV and not 
your main workstation), then your best option would be to not use KDE 
or any 'full-featured' desktop environment.  All you really need is a 
minimal window manager, like fvwm or blackbox.

If you've got your heart set on KDE, try going into Control Panel->KDE 
Components->Service Manager and disable 'KDED Mount Watcher'.
