UPDATE!
Ok, here's some new information. If I revert back to watching MythTv on
the computer monitor, I can watch just fine and have X running on the
TV-OUT of the PVR350. By accident, I move the mouse and it drifted onto
the TV display and all hell broke loose! Basically, it seems that I
have a problem whenever anything happens on the TV side and Myth is
trying to access the PVR350.
Same error messages from mythfrontend:
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
2003-11-04 08:23:50 Waited too long for ringbuffer pause..
2003-11-04 08:22:51 Waited too long for ringbuffer pause..
2003-11-04 08:23:52 Waited too long for ringbuffer pause..
2003-11-04 08:23:53 Waited too long for ringbuffer pause..
and in the mythbackend log file:
Couldn't read data from the capture card in 15 seconds. Game over, man.
Changing from WatchingLiveTV to Non
Looks like there's an issue w/ivtv-fb here. Gonna post on the ivtv list
as well.
