yup. I even hardcoded it into the command string. no luck.

I figured as much. any good place to start looking for the problem?

for the record, I'm hoping to get time to write a perl library to
deal with myth[transcode], and currently nuvexport is the main
source of documentation. thanks a lot for the great work!

the idea would be to create a nice object-oriented library to give
us access to produce frontends to do things like running export code
from cron that detects what files have cutlists, and what hasn't
been encoded etc. support for naming schemes (sprintf-like stuff
with regards to date, channel, etc) would also be nice.

I'd also like to add support for different encoders, transcode being
one of them. oh, and a mythexport webmodule would also be neat.
  :-)
