[mythtv-users] Slackware

I'm running MythTV on SL9 (Asus Pundit) without any problems. But you'll
have to manually install some libraries to get it working (can't
remember which once), but you will get compiler errors which will tell
what is missing.

I'm using the stock ide kernel from the disto, and just compiled the
drivers (bt, alsa, ao) which where missing, or updated.

I have to say if you're used to the help from RedHat, you're in for a
bit of a surprise - you have to do a lot yourself, and you need to
figure out how SL is doing their init scripts (fairly easy), it is quite
easy when you get the idea.

I have some startup scripts for both mythfrontend and backend if you're
interested.
