Check the output of lspci and lspci -v. Maybe you have conflicting IRQ
or IO ports. Have a look in the BIOS. Also try googling:

Finally, I suggest to try asking on the alsa lists. Users and
developers there are very helpful and should know better about such
problems by definition ;)
