I've managed to get both inputs responding now (using the 'c' key only to
alter between Tuner 0 and S-Video 0 on the 250) and assigning the lower keys
to the tuner on both cards seems to work. I'm still weeding through a few
things and testing, but I've found I have a problem watching a different
channel then one I've scheduled to record (even if I'm on a different
interface).

I'm going to double check scinarios for sure to confirm this, but the one time
I did test this (from what I can remember), even if I switched to the other
interface (bttv) and scheduled a recording, then used the PIP feature to
switch back to the 250 on either interface, when the recording was going to
start, the dialogue window would come up saying I could watch while it was
recording or go back to the main menu rather then have it just record in the
background.

Again I'm assuming its the way I've configured something but I'll keep trying
things.

I experience the same behavior here. I'm not sure how this could be done
without some user intervention for multiple cards though. Maybe another pop-up
box if you have more then one source assigned to more then one input across
multiple cards? Or I suppose it could just always use the defult tuner card
for multiple sources and if you want to access the same range of channels from
another interface, thats when you have to specify to use the other card?

So far there's a few extra steps involved but from what I can tell its working
a lot better then I'd previously had it :-)
