Is this flamebait?  I think mythtv is easy to install and configure.  It's the
dependancies that can be time consuming to get right, and with RH9, the apt
repositories, and the howto, it's not bad at all.  Driver issues/conflicts
and lirc seem to be the points a lot of people get stuck on.
