First off, you might want to ask a little nicer in the future.  There's a 
kind of a snippy undertone to your message that might make people not 
want to help you.  Yes, it's frustrating when the latest CVS code breaks 
your install, but nobody's getting paid to work on this stuff, so you're 
at the mercy of the developers' own schedule and priorities.

So let this be a lesson to you:  when working with alpha-release code, 
always back up anything that's working before you update it, so you can 
revert when it breaks (and it WILL break something - that's why they call 
it alpha).  Don't just do a "cvs update" and cross your fingers.
