[mythtv-users] refined schedules and vmr support

I want to change from winxp (SageTV) to MythTV. I have 2 issues:

1. Can I select a program by channel and time to record? IE Batman on 
channel xx at 10AM and not on yy at 9PM.

2. With XP I get mirrored video overlays so I can watch a DVD, TV or Video 
on my computer monitor and svideo out connected TV. Does X11 support this? 
I have a NVIDIA 5200 AGP adapter.
