[mythtv-users] Requesting help w/DirecTV wiring to PVR-250

I'm using a PVR-250 with a DirecTV RCA box.  S-video 0
works, but only after a lot of screwing around.  The
last thing I did before it started working was to
rebuild the database.  A good test of the hardware and
capture drivers is to see if mplayer gets output from
/dev/video0.

I use the serial connection but I have a real serial
port.  Maybe the easiest way for you is to get a usb
to serial adapter.
