[mythtv-users] problems with apt-get and ivtv

I'd guess you have a kernel matching problem, just because the same
thing happened to me and I had the same results.  You might be using an
i686 kernel and getting the i386 ivtv modules.  I had to manually
download the rpms for the i686 ivtv modules and install them using rpm
on the command line.  That is, until I got tired of it and switched
everything back to i386.
