After searching through the list, I can't seem to find any posts
discussing my problem, so I'll try posting it. I have my backend
and frontend running ok, but the backend crashes after the first recording.
my /var/tmp/mythbackend.log shows this in the last lines:

2003-10-06 15:00:00 Changing from RecordingOnly to None
2003-10-06 15:00:00 Found changes in the todo list.
Input #0, mpeg, from '/var/video//1007_20031006140500_20031006150000.nuv':
  Stream #0.0: Video: mpegvideo_via, 480x576, 25.00 fps, 8000 kb/s
  Stream #0.1: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 256 kb/s

and in /var/log/messages, i find this:

Oct 6 15:00:03 farplane kernel: ivtv: Not enough free buffers, stream 0

What is happening here? The recording ends at 15:00, but why does the log
show the 'Input...' lines after that? Is it trying to transcode the
recording, or remove commercials or something? And why is the ivtv
complaining in the log, if recording has already stopped? I'm pretty
confused by these messages. Is it possible to get more verbose logs from
the backend and the ivtv module by the way?

Have I missed any posts on this perhaps? Or is my backend configuration
wrong perhaps? Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
  David
