[mythtv-users] Installing mythtv-suite w/o lirc (was: Install Issue)

You don't need mythtv-suite to install myth. mythtv-suite is a
convencience pull-them-all-in package. So you can either
o apt-get install <packages you want here>, or
o apt-get install mythtv-suite and
  apt-get remove mythtv-suite lirc
  to remove the umbrella package and the one package you dislike.

(I'd prefer patches/suggestions as how to get the lirc rpm working for
more configs, though ;)

Please don't create inconsitencies between the rpm (or deb) databases
and the actual content on your disk. That's why the packaging is done
quite modular and optional, so you can leave things out.
