I also use this remote... I picked up two of em for $15 bucks CAD each 
locally.
Anyways,  the remote works great... I do wish there were more buttons, 
and that the remote was a little more comfortable, but it works under lirc.
As someone else already said, there's a lirc config file included in the 
lirc/remotes/creative directory for this remote.
