[mythtv-users] Question about framebuffer

It just occurred to me that the support for the TV-out on the PVR-350 is 
basically framebuffer based... is this correct?  If so, how difficult 
would it be to extend this support to more generic framebuffer devices, 
thereby enabling Myth to function without X (i.e., generic framebuffer 
or Qt-embedded)?  Is this planned once the PVR-350 support matures?

Note: this is not a request; I'm merely curious!
