the activate button prioritizes one show over another if their ranks are
the same.

If the ranks are different, like you said, it probably does nothing.  I
don't know that myth has a way to prioritize shows on a per-show basis -
probably a  good idea for a feature request.

Then again, maybe I'm confused.
