what do you think about building a matrix of working configurations (HW,SW -
Parts) ?

eg:

Kernel-Version
ivtv-Version (ok... alpha ;-)
bttv-Version
mythtv-Version
Processor
TV-Card
Alsa-Version
Linux-Distribution
Maintainer

Maybe with some hints to the configuration...
