  I've read so many things in so many places, I'm not sure any more.
Maybe it was in an old driver?

  Sounds like the card I have.  Could you tell me how you got it working?
Do you use the mga XFree86 drivers from matrox?  Or just the framebuffer?
The base kernel modules, or the mgavideo downloadable drivers?  What kernel
do you use?

  I'm using kernel 2.4.22 right now (also tried 2.4.18) but when I use the
framebuffer drivers in the kernel I don't get the TV out to work and I
don't see the tuner.  At another time I had the mgavideo framebuffer drivers
running and xawtv ran and I could play TV, but then the TV out stopped
working for mythtv.  I tried the mgavideo drivers other times and it
kept crashing my computer (I think it was because I had the kernel drivers
loaded too).  I'm slowly working out what the different bits do, and
maybe can get something to work...

  I saw this post from you today at work (after I sent out the e-mail to
the list) and thought I'd try that out and see how it works.

  Hmmm.  I was thinking the pvr250 but saw something on the net saying
the TV out didn't work on it.  Does it work?  I'd like to use the G400-tv
if I can get it running, but I'm open to buying a different card if need
be.  I like what I've seen of mythtv and would like to help on the development
side of it.
