One great feature of the DCT5100... If you are using the HD outputs for
regular viewing, the SVIDEO output will not show the program guide. I can't
remember if you have to set it that way, but it does work. I am not too sure
about the serial control on the DCT5100. I remember reading a post on
another webboard that it is not enabled right now.

There is a big discussion on one of the AV boards about the 5100. I'll dig
up the link if you want me too.
