do you know about the atrpms' kernels, kernel modules and mythtv rpms?
They provide you all you need to run mythtv on RH. Have a look at

http://atrpms.physik.fu-berlin/name/mythtv/
				   /bttv/
				   /kernel/
				   /whateveryouneed/ ;)

Look also into the mythtv docs on the website (prerequisite to using
the rpms ;).
