[mythtv-users] myth on a plasma screen, via VGA output

hey all,

has anyone had experience setting up myth with a plasma display, 
specifically one with a VGA input?  does X support the resolution 
properly?  is there distortion (or is it banded) when watching 4:3 
pictures?  does mythdvd play in full widescreen?

i'm thinking about making the drop with the 42" gateway... :)
