If you can manage, run 2 X sessions - 1 for X on a monitor, and 1 via
fb{0|1} on :1, then run myth via the tv-out on the 350 "--display
127.0.0.1:1". Granted you will be lacking hardware decoding playing out
DVD's, etc it's *the best* output to your TV period.
Otherwise investigate overscan options (mine is set to .65), when I
added this option and tweaked the settings a bit I got the nvidia tv-out
from a smallish bordered window on my TV to glorious edge-to-edge
full-screen. I am however disappointed by the quality from the tv-out on
the nvidia, the tv-out on the 350 is astonishingly high quality to the
point of me deciding to keep my Trinitron TV instead of buying a new one
in hopes of increasing quality - it just looks great.
Good luck, hopefully future revs of the ivtv stuff will support better
software decoding and playback through the x50's svideo out.
