I am also getting disappointing capture quality from my PVR 250. I have
digital cable but until now I was testing my mythbox without the cable box
(I can still tune all the channels below 100). I am wondering if I were to
connect the cable to the Coax - would that bypass the tuner?

I haven't had much luck getting broadcast quality.
